You got that right. Having seen the 8 piece costume that US Olympians are forced to wear tonight, I'd happily trade that in for the traditional mumu of East Bungaloria.
Serioiusly, could the opening ceremonies be any stupider, more stupid, stupidest? I'd rather go on a bike ride in a glass shard lined sandpaper thong than suffer through 5 hours of that silliness.
Do you think the US team just went to the local sweatshop to pick up their costumes or were they sent from China to the US and then toted back to China?
Another thing, why the big deal about the smog? These are Olympians, the best of the best. I think they should have doubled up on the smog to really test their training. How would that be any different than going to Colorado and training in a space vacuum? Let's see what they really have.
