I try but I just cannot create the same times at practice.
Unless you have a block you won't be able to but you should be able to get close (2-3% off). As Ande said, it's about swimming fast. And as Rich said, it's going fast when you're supposed to go fast. At the end of practice, right before warmdown, do a 25 free as fast as possible. Just give it everything you've got left. You might surprise yourself.
