Hey Al, I ran into you in the hallway of the hotel during Nationals and said I thought you were on the board. I think you misunderstood me to mean the USMS Board of Directors, but I meant this "board" as in discussion board.

I was brain dead from the heat and was ass dragging the whole time. I really was not enjoying the meet and was just going through the motions. I almost had a relapse of my heat stroke (that took me out of competition for the past 10 years) right before the 200IM, so was not excited about racing anything.
How long a break are people taking? I am taking one week off and I'm
already getting anxious to get started again. There are meets coming
up in September.
Let's see. I did half a practice last night, will swim another 'practice' Thursday then I have 8 swims this weekend in the Colonies LCM Zone meet.

I was in the pool on Monday, and the weight room on Tuesday.
I am enjoying a few days off from swimming this week, but plan on getting back in the pool on Saturday or Sunday. I can never stay away from the pool for too long, however, this break is much needed! Between the extreme heat in Oregon, swimming, jet lag and staying up late watching the Olympics -I'm exhausted!
Is there a site to order the DVD? I admit that for all the times that I walked past the video info tent, I never stopped to see if there was an order form or whatever.

Yes, but you get all the heats of each event. The DVDs I ordered will only have a section of the heats for each event that include the ones I swam in.
