..... Search for my name and you get......NOTHING!!!....
No Top Ten for me either.
But a further search revealed my 50 Back time at SCY Nats put me at 23rd in my age group (55-59). Not bad for one who didn't start swimming until 8 years ago.

You had a sweet 50 back at Nats!!
I don't normally like to brag, but I am very proud of my very first top 10 ranking.

That time is essentially what I was doing as a junior in high school. I've got quite a ways to go to get close to my best time of my youth but I'm working on it! (I need to learn not to take it out so fast--I'm dying too much at the end). There are some really amazing swimmers in USMS (including most of you folks who post here). I'm not sure I really belong on the same list, but I'll take it!

Nice swim. I'd love to go a 2:20 in the 2-*** someday.
It is that my ambition exceeds my ability...
Given your time (which is FAST), and the incredible times posted by the swimmers in your age group, I'd be feeling pretty darn good if I were you! That is an incredibly competitive age group, it would seem.

Thanks very much! I really didn't think I had it in me, to be honest. I think my seed time was like a 2:32 or something! But now that I've done it, I want to do better, of course!
Yeah, relays only for me, but at least it was with a real team and none of that cheating "nice to see you for the first time, let's swim our relay now" BS.
I'm proud of the blue muppet, through whom I live vicariously during SCY season. She is top 10 in her 1/2 free and backs. Moo, if you're watching, how did your amazing 50s (USMS and club) this year fit in to the top rankings?
My age group (m25-29) is extremely competitive and we have quite a few Trials qualifiers in the rankings. I was 11th in both the 500 and 1000. But I'd be willing to bet that all of the folks above me swam USAS and/or NCAA in some capacity in their youth. Me, nope.
