Thanks Stud! When I was told this I did try and change my stroke to use my lats more; however, what I noticed was that my shoulders started to hurt. I guess I'm doing it incorrectly and I also reverted back to my usual stroke as it scared me that my shoulders were hurting almost immediately. I most likely need to get several coaches to look at my stroke. One of my main coaches was against changing my stroke but I did not push the issue. I'll be sure to ask again. Hehe I need to have my coach go over it all again, my shoudler hurt a little either way so I dunno. The new way it seems to be hurtling less deeply in the shoulder...I just think the right shoulder needs a break, period. Pain is not major or constant.
