Well I was asked by a certain workout partner to start this one due to the success if the airlines thread, so I won't take full blame, but here goes.
In the spirit of the election year, what if Democrats ran swim meets?
I'll start (with some help from the person who suggested it):
1. No one would ever quit a race.
2. All events results would be recounted and recounted again.
3. Top finishers would have to give a majority of their medal counts to those who didn't place.
4. DQ judges would be eliminated for fear of stroke profiling.
5. You wouldn't have to show a USMS card to participate.
6. Their would be no male and female divisions or age groups because of discrimination.
I can't believe I went here, but it is all in good fun...
Vice coaches wouldn't shoot important pool donors in the face with squirtguns.
Fellow teammates would not be wiretapped because they have friends on opposing teams and occasionally call them.
