What is the longest you have ever swam in a single workout or practice?
For me, it was 5700 yards.
I'm sure a lot of you have some pretty impressive totals:)

Yes I am still swimming with the kiddies and afternoon practice I was a NO SHOW actually with the gas prices I figured I would go to the longer of the 2 practices and skip the other to save alittle money.
That practice also had a set of 60x50@:45 odds free/evens fly. I did about 20 of them mostly free with fins about 5 of them I managed the fly on then I figured time to warm down this old body. It is tough with just water on deck to drink and in my case no time to drink it. I need to find something I like that is not overly sweet.
Kristina, which drink do you use?
Today is not too bad today. Next week I anticipate a tough Monday AM and PM practice and the rest of the week should be more sprint work since we have a meet at the end of the week.
I will have to do double duty as coach and swimmer at that meet since our coach will have to leave early to take his son to Omaha for trials.
After that I will be working hard straight thru July and backing off end of July beginning of August for Nationals again! I CAN'T WAIT!
You will rip up Nats I know! Yes, we've got some of the coaches leaving for trials as well. How exciting and I can't wait to watch on TV. (I'm actually watching the gymnastics trials right now.) Coach and swimmer?! That's a lot to take on. I know you will look forward to your taper!
I like the Hammer products and use Heed for the energy drink and Recoverite for the recovery drink. They aren't too sweet for me and I'm pretty picky. They have a website. And no, I don't sell them. I've had good experiences with that combo.
