What is the longest you have ever swam in a single workout or practice?
For me, it was 5700 yards.
I'm sure a lot of you have some pretty impressive totals:)

Some times I have used races as training swims. The longest race that I used for a training swim was a 30 mile swim, it was the first race every year. That works out to be 52,800 yards or 49,500 meters.
That is incredible George. How long did it take you?
I'm a wimp. I think my longest swim was the 10K I just did. 9800 meters moderate and 200 meters sprint. I'll be attempting a 25K in 4 weeks, but I'm not sure I'll make it. Should be fun though.
