Did you meet your goals at nationals?

I'm curious to know how things turned out. I know Ande and Jazz Hands had publicized goals as well as a lot of others (e.g., times, swimmer vs. swimmer...). How did things turn out? Give us an update. Some of your goals might have been to just get drunk and reconnect with old friends. Post a synopsis for those of us who did not or could not attend.

  • I met almost all of my goals in Austin. 1) Get a Medal: yep, got two, 1000 free and 200 back 2) Improve all my times from last year: made that, with the exception of getting the exact same time as last year in the 50 free (23.98, at least I got under 24) 3) Swim some relays: Yes, thanks to the generous Oregon swimmers who took me in for the week, and Bill V who swam a relay so the other three of us could swim once more, thanks Bill. 4) Go to every bar in Austin: Not met, but I did give it the old college try:whiteflag: 5) Watch some really fast swims: Met for sure, watching the Smiths, Josh Davis, Michael Ross and others was very inspiring and lots of fun. So, with the exception of number 4, it was a highly successful meet!
