So I have never started a thread before - but here is something I have not seen before.......
My FS Pro came today - and I was told to go slowly and put it on and that it could take up to 30 minutes...... is that for real??
I am at 20 minutes and I am stuck at the hips - for real!
It is the high neck body skin..... and if that zipper was about 2 inches longer I could probably get it over my hips and I wouldn't be standing here with my butt hanging out waiting for a reply.
If I don't stop laughing I may split something. I know the elite swimmers don't have real hips - but does anyone out there have any suggestions and How long does it take on average to get in one?
I'll miss all my events at nationals just trying to get the suit on!!!!

While we're on the "What is it?" track, I hope to purchase a first-ever wet suit for long OW swims. Could someone please put up some brand names (e.g., I assume a wet suit is different from a Fastskin, but Speedo is silent on the matter), and maybe what I should look for (to avoid hypothermia)? How should the fit feel when I try it on? Would swimming OW in lower Lake Michigan (55 - 75 deg, roughly) v. Alaska (brr!) v. Croatia v. Greece require different suits?
:dunno:
Yes, wetsuits are vastly different from a Fastskin. Brand names include Quintana Roo, Promotion, Blue Seventy, Orca, Zoot, 2XU. Do a Google search on "triathlon wetsuit" and you'll find a lot of information.
