The 6th floor elevator B70 video was pretty funny. Did not go on quite as quickly as Santos suggested it would, but probably far more rapid than an LZR I suspect.
Wasn't Cullen Jones supposed to be a lock in the 50 and the 100 free? I hope that Nike and I think Toyota didn't spend alot of money endorsing him. I don't think that they are getting their money's worth sponsoring a guy who is going to the Olympics in a relay.
Gary Hall was kind of douchy tonight!!
Margaret Hoelzer needs a bigger suit ASAP! Did anyone see the post swim interview?
Ok, is that something going on between Katie Hoff and her coach! Just wondering!
It is nice to see that Stovall is 5 foot 9 and yet, able to go toe to toe with Goliths like Phelps and Crocker. Crocker, get a haircut.
Cullen Jones' 100 time coming in to the Trials was 49.17, and since plenty of others had faster seed times, I'd say that hardly made him a lock -- this sentence is rather long so we're going to take a commercial break now, and just for fun, also interrupt the webcast ... ... ... -- for the Olympics. He swam well.
New Trials game: How many commercial breaks will there be during the 1500 tomorrow?
Can you explain what you mean by this question? Was there something on the broadcast that I missed??
I get this vibe from him that he is into her beyond a coach-swimmer relationship? Just a vibe!
There is a video of Kaitlin Sandeno calling it quits on FloSwimming. Really quite sad to watch. She's always been one of my favorite athletes on the womens side. Still is actually.
I saw that too - so sad. She has always been one of my favorites. I really thought she'd find a way to sneak onto this team. Great career for her hopefully she'll take a break and come back and swim masters!
The curtain for Gary Hall Jr????!!!
No way, he has the Race Club, and what he should do is go to Master Nationals and really smash the Masters 30-34 WR. That could be good for his business. If he keeps training, who knows, he could go a best at 41 like Torres...
...or maybe he could just show up without actually having to enter and be allowed to swim and break the world record in the 50 fly (like he did at Masters Nationals in Mission Viejo in 2005).
Wow, the 1500 looks painful. I don't think that I ever swam the 1500 in my age group days. I did alot of 1650s in my day. But, I will rarely do the 1000 or 1650 in yards in masters. Only in SCM and LCM. I swam a 1000 last February but that wasn't stellar. I just don't see the point to do these longer freestyles in yards on a regular basis anymore.
