  • Poor Vendt. Oh well, he can just swim the preliminary relay of the 4 x 200 and have some fun in Beijing. He has done really well at these Trials. Maybe the 1500 is just too long of a race for him. He might be better suited for the 800. Of course, the guys don't swim the 800 at the Games. Go Vanderkaay. He better not scratch the 1500. He could be the one to take down Hackett. I can hope, can't I.
