Nice article sports.espn.go.com/.../story This is a great read. Particularly for the non-aquatic media, they agony and ecstacy was captured well. The trials are just incredible drama. The 100 back finals were just flat out close races. But Arianna Kukors and the 200 IM, that's just almost too painful to think about. I was pulling for her. I think I can understand the Coughlin issue. Nothing against her personally, and to read much into the post-race interviews is IMHO foolish. But when you've had as much success as she's had, and has had as much of the spotlight as she's had, I just have to feel for her competitors. Her talent is undeniable, as is her success. But there are so many other great swimmers who are just as deserving of our admiration.
