For as laid back as Crocker comes across... I just think he is a bit jumpy and sensitive. However, I don't know what it is... I like him. There are some other swimmers out there that have bad personalities - some have been mentioned here - but somehow Ian is just so likeable. Spitz sounds a lot like Schubert. As for Coughlin, I'm a bit disappointed in her post-race comment... BUT these kids have to come up with coherent answers as they are huffing and puffing right after their race - that has to be tough. As for all four strokes... still gotta work on that ***, honey (if she wants to be queenbee of the IM's). However, she is a veteran who is very talented and should know better. I haven't noticed too much about the way swimmers are positioning themselves on the starts... but the platform of the block really looks small. Maybe they're scrunched? I hope everyone has a great 4th of July (and a safe one too). I am headed to the Smoky Mountains this weekend to get some much needed rest - I hope I will be able to see a bit of finals action once in a while.
