  • I would not be surprised if she scratched the IM. She will not beat Hoff in Beijing and might lose to Rice. Natalie doesn't like to swim events she doesn't have very strong odds to win gold. She skipped 100 fly because the Aussies will go 1-2. She skipped 200 free because Hoff would beat her. There's nothing wrong with concentrating on your best events.
