    I was pulling for Vendt but I think he had to make top 5 to push out Lochte. I think he just missed it. If I'm not mistaken Lochte makes the top six with his time. Vendt gets pushed out again.... This is incorrect. I believe they have a cap of 26 athletes for each gender. With guys like Lochte and Phelps certain to qualify for multiple events, they'll have room to take the top 6 from the 200 free. Lochte can still be an option to swim the 4 X 200 relay, but Vendt's 200 free is good enough to earn him a spot on the team.
