  • Anybody keeping up with how the masters swimmers are doing? I saw that Laura Davis of Walnut Creek Masters swam a 1:01.04 in the 100 Fly prelims, which was a whole second faster than her seed time. That was good enough for 48th. It's amazing how tight the finishes are. There are at least 10 swimmers with a tenth of a second of her finish time. Susan Von Der Lippe did a 1:02.47, which was a tenth slower than her seed time, but still amazingly fast (of course). Go masters swimmers!
