strange pain when swimming underwater

After taking a break of an hour or so. I jumped into the pool and started swimming to the bottom of the 12 ft level. I started feeling a sharp stinging pain behind the eye and where the sinus cavity is. When I surfaced the pain would disappear. I tried it a few more times. Same thing. The pain would come back after only a few feet underwater and then disappear when I surfaced. About 45 minutes before this happened, I swam the entire length of the pool underwater a few times. Wonder if I should see a doctor.

Um, while I suppose it could be something serious it does bring the following to mind.... Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do THIS! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well, don't do THAT? Seriously though, if I have any weird pain or soreness while working out, I try to work around it and leave it alone for a while. Such as if my left arm doesn't like the motions of one of the Nautilus machines, I skip that station for a while. -eric
