strange pain when swimming underwater

After taking a break of an hour or so. I jumped into the pool and started swimming to the bottom of the 12 ft level. I started feeling a sharp stinging pain behind the eye and where the sinus cavity is. When I surfaced the pain would disappear. I tried it a few more times. Same thing. The pain would come back after only a few feet underwater and then disappear when I surfaced. About 45 minutes before this happened, I swam the entire length of the pool underwater a few times. Wonder if I should see a doctor.

Probably just pressure in your sinus cavity....No different than having to equalize pressure in your ears when diving..If this hasn't happened before you may have a slight sinus infection or you could've just got a little water trapped in there when doing underwaters....It happens to me sometimes when I do underwaters or SDK on my back.
