Hulk and I just shook internet hands on a 50 free Nationals gridge. The winner will be whoever gets the bigger time drop from Zones. That's a 2.28-second advantage for him.
Anyone else gridging in Austin?
I died like a dog in the 100 fly too, FAF.
I'm not swimming the 50 free until March 2009. Maybe I can learn to do a flip turn by then. I need a vacation from that event!
March? Albatross? Jeez. We need together sometime soon and work on starts and turns. Preferably somewhere we can use blocks.
Um, I do believe that I aquitted myself well Sunday night. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly HOW many beers I did have. I know there was at least 7 and a whole bunch of top offs.

Pffffffffffffffffft...stick to swimming!
:lmao::drink:
Come on, gimme a break. I lost my pro card 19 years ago. I'm strictly amateur now.
Paul
LOL OK you help me with my Fly and I'll get you re-certed...
actually I can drink as much as ever, but it just gets real ugly a lot sooner! Then there's the payback...
I am handily avenging myself against Hulk

Thanks, Jim...see my other post on the Eaton meet. You'd never guess I was a drop dead sprinter, would ya?
We can pick this one back up next year, and maybe I'll be in Clovis instead of virtual...
Awesome time drop/taper on that 200, especially considering you were out so much this season.
Congratulations to Glider (Mark) for winning our virtual gridge match for 2 out of 3 in the BR events this year. The results:
50 BR:
Mark: 28.60 (really nice swim!)
Jim: 30.25 (ouch - at least I split a 29.4 in a relay)
100 BR:
Mark: 1:05.20
Jim: 1:05.79
200 BR:
Mark: 2:25.81
Jim: 2:24.66
... so Mark takes best 2 out of 3. Here's to you:
:woot::bow: :applaud: :wine: :drink:
Same time next year?
