Pool in Vancouver BC?

Greetings I am planning a trip to Vancouver BC in July(19-23) and we would like to get a few swims in. I see a number of pools, Vancouver Aquatic Center, UBC, Kitsilano Pool. Can anyone suggest where to get in a few lap swims while there? Any events that are worth attending while in town? We are excited for our first visit to the city. Thanks in advance. Spudfin

Spudfin Are you going to Vancouver proper or one of the towns around Vancouver? I live in Delta BC and the town of Ladner BC.
