I recently got a copy of the document attached below and it astounded me. I know that there is widespread disagreement and rancor on this Discussion Forum but I was completely unaware how far up the chain it went.

...Of course this is where you get into arguments with people about things like the earth's orbit is elliptical and not spherical, the earth is not a sphere, it's an oblate spheroid, etc.
The earth is not a sphere; it's flat. How else could the swimming pools stay filled? ;)
