Other than it being "slow", what is with all the breaststroke haters? Just curious because I happen to think it's a beautifully powerful stroke.

Butterfroggers would rather be breaststrokers but they found it was faster by getting both arms over the water not under it on recovery.
Butterfly is the natural progression from getting off all fours to being able to stand up.
