20/03/08 E.C. Eindhoven 2008 - Incident during the 50m Butterfly Men Victory Ceremony
29th European Swimming Championships – Eindhoven 2008
Eindhoven (NED) – This is coming to inform that following a letter of complaint received from the President of the Organizing Committee of the 29th European Swimming Championships regarding the incident provoked by Mr Milorad Cavic (SRB) during the victory ceremony, as a winner of the men’s 50m butterfly event, the Executive of LEN at its meeting after yesterday evening’s session decided to forward this case to the LEN Panel for Disciplinary Matters and Disputes for their consideration and decision.
The LEN Panel for Disciplinary Matters and Disputes will meet and conduct a hearing for this case today, March 20th 2008 at 21.30 hours.
A follow-up press release will be issued immediately after the conclusion of the meeting in question.

The fact that he was born and raised in the US, swam for Cal and trains with The Race Club...but represents Serbia...and decides to go political is all interesting reading.
That is very interesting, I agree. But Serbian culture is thought to have began, at least by Serbians, in Kosovo. In many ways it would be as if Virginia decided to seperate from the USA. Oh, wait it did.
