Alain Bernard just set a new world record of 47.60 in the 100 free at the European Championships in Eindhoven!

    The guy is huge. The preconceptions we have of people are very curious. I had never seen a photo of him and for some reason or other imagined him to be less muscular. Well defined, but more wiry and of smaller frame. But he is a brute, isn't he. His shoulders are enormous. All the better to power him through the water with. He has a similar upper body build to Magnini but even bigger.
