A&M did an awesome job Texas should fare much better next year they've got some stunning recruits like Kathleen Hersey images.google.com/images who went 2:07 in the 200 LCM fly 1:56.0 in the 200 IM 400 IM 4:04:19 Kim Brackin also coaches Kirsty Coventry who broke the WR in the 200 BK Texas' fall recruiting class is superb. Perhaps the best in the nation. Hersey and Gingrich are already super-fast. They should instantly make Texas a top 10 team again. Texas' best swimmer, Escobar, is back next year. Texas is paying the price for the dropoff in recruiting that occurred in the last several years of the prior coaching staff. Most of their points at NCAAs this year were earned in diving. Mary Beck is an early verbal commit for fall 2009. Coventry was a superstar at Auburn - also with Brackin as her coach so they go back a ways. Only two of A&M's points were scored by a senior. The bulk of that team is juniors and sophomores. NCAAs are in College Station in 2008. I watched as much of the NCAAs as I could via live streaming. Arizona's relays were just dominant. Incredible depth and man were they ready to race. Both Az and A&M went under 7:00 in the 800 free relay. Cal, Stanford, and Auburn may have been a bit past their taper for their conference championships?
