Hi - I'm recovering from surgery on a labral tear in my hip. My surgeon says I can swim again (finally), but that I shouldn't kick much (?) or flip turn. Has anyone else had this surgery? If so, do you have any advice for getting back into swimming? Or did you have any difficulty? Esp. with the hip flexor muscle? Any advice is appreciated....I know this is a common surgery for the shoulder in swimmers, but I can't find much info. for the hip.
