I just saw Rebecca Soni swim the NCAA record 200 BR at the Pac 10 Championships on Tivo.I have seen previous snipits of her swimming and it appears to me she has a rather unorthodox pull,but I have seen no underwater views to get a good view of what she is actually doing.From the surface it looks to me like the pull is narrow with very little insweep and that the power from the pull is in the outsweep.Does anyone have any underwater video of her,or have a better look at what she is doing so I can understand how she is so fast.She has a rapid turnover so it may be a case that her kick and her conditioning are her strengths but I'd like to get others opinions.
