Hi,
A couple of months ago I was looking up weight training/dry lands for my daughter. I came across a very interesting site that inferred that weight training/dry lands done properly could replace a portion of swimming...I spent some time reading through it and the author made quite a bit of sense.
Unfortunately, I did not save the site. The author referred to a number of exercises...ie squats, cords, tricep kick backs....as a matter of training and had them broken down into sets. (Almost mimicking a swim practice)
The site is not brianmac.co.uk. I have tried to find it again and I am hoping that it rings a bell with someone on the forum. If not, does anyone know of a good reference dvd or book with some programs to follow...although I would prefer the site.
Thanks in advance,
Whitney

no i'm not replacing swimming. the article was just stating that it could be a replacement for swimming. I'm just looking for the article because it had some great ideas.
