Your perfect training session (environment)

I was visiting my sister and brother-in-law in Laguana Nigel (over 30 yrs ago), and would like to tell you about a workout environment that I would love. I woke up to a wonderful sunrise, walked out on the backyard patio and watched some golden eagles fly over a winter field (wheat I think). In the distance was I mountain that was snowcapped. I got my swim suit on and took a dip in her heated pool (air temperature was already in the 70's). At night, the stars were abundant as I held my Margarita and sipped it with my arms drapped along the side of the pool. I didn't get to workout that morning or at night (they had a small kidney shaped pool with a jacuzzi) but if her pool was bigger, I could have done something like this: I would have trained in the morning with a set comprised of mostly drills and DPS work along with a couple race-pace swims. At night I would have done some easy drills, streamlining drills, underwater (SDK) work and a lot of kicking (so I could look at the stars). At the night practice I would have had some mood music playing along with a glass (plastic) or two of Margaritas. I know it sounds kind of corny but hey, from where I'm from (Michigan) you don't get chances like that very often. With a bunch of friends, I think we could make these workouts addictive. Have a great day - the only way.

..............stars were abundant as I held my Margaritta and sipped it with my arms drapped along the side of the pool. OK. We're game. Tell us more about Margarita............. (And, BTW, you should have had your arms draped arounder her, not the side of the pool.) :wine: Sorry, just couldn't resist.
