Australian Eamon Sullivan swam a 21.56 50m (LCM) to finally break Popov's record set back in Moscow in 2000: www.smh.com.au/.../1203190655692.html news.google.ca/news He went on to swim 48.11 in the 100m.

  • It would be interesting to know what Popoff could have done in a full body suit. John Smith On the contrary, it would also be interesting to know what Sullivan would have done in a speedo. Popov chose not to compete in a style other than brief - and while we think his performance at the last olympics wasn't all that great, he still held his own with all the bodysuiters.
