    If kicking makes you even feel faster or make you turn your arms faster then it's worthwhile. In my limited experience if I am not kicking hard on the last 10 yards I am likely giving up on the front half too...there is something invigorating about engaging your kick to dig deep...just my personal experience. Kick sets will certainly help whip you into shape and your legs very much so. They might be of greater benefit to folks that cannot hit the weights for injury related reasons.
