Prelims: Fri, Sat, Sun
3:00pm warm-ups
4:30pm session begins
Finals: Sat, Sun, Mon
7:30am warm-ups
9:00am session begins
they are doing the reverse prelim final because
that is how it's going to be at the olympics
prelims at night finals in the morning

That's not much of a "notice" considering that Dara is nearly old enough to be Kara's mother.
We were laughing about this last night at the meet. In Dara's heat, I think she was old enough to be the mother of all the other competitors.
Another funny thing... There were some young swimmers sitting around us in the stands. We pointed out to them that Gary Hall, Jr., was standing on the pool deck. They didn't know who he was.
Katie Hoff looked good in everything. I was surprised at how small some of the female swimmers are. Kirsty Coventry looks much smaller than a lot of the other women.
And I don't feel so bad any more about having to swim with a nose clip. Guess who else uses one? Aaron Piersol!
