what do you think?
I would love it if Grevers could win that 50 free. Swimming for Ford must be sprinter heaven... did you all see how many sprint men they had in the 50/100 frees?
And I was scanning through the 100 free women prelim results. Kate Ziegler was in there with a 57.40, out in 28.01 and back in 29.39. If my memory is right, that 2nd 50 is not far off what she came back for the LAST 50 of her record-breaking 1500. Boggles my wee little mind...
Ande, do you know what the deal is with the time trials? I've noticed there are a lot of time trials being swum at the conclusion of the prelims sessions and often the times people are going in these time trials are slower than the meet qual time. How does that work? Does the coach just ask the meet officials if they can do a time trial? Are these for kids who are trying to get close to a cut and want to race in a fast 50m pool, something a lot of folks might not always have access too (we can't all train at UT, you know...)
