While I should have been working, I was reading this article on ESPN.com. If the Dara Torres story is too good to be true, this one can serve as inspiration.
I have trouble getting to the pool on Saturday morning just because I'm tired. I can't even imagine the strength and motivation this kid has!

After reading that article, I am kind of depressed. As a senior in high school I signed with Loyola college but backed out last minute because i needed shoulder surgeries. I ended up never making it to Loyola for undergrad, and have had a miserable time with college swimming. The team and coaching staff at Loyola is obviously invested in their teammates and helping everyone excel and I'm sorry to have missed out on that environment and meeting this awesome individual.
