I did the one hour of pain today. Ouch! I am the seventh child and this was my 7th one hour. It is my humble opinion that there are only two ways for men to get a "taste" of childbirth: kidney stones and the one hour postal swim. Thanks mom!:wine: (don't worry mom; it's only sparkling cider).
Federal Way Masters is providing an hour this weekend at the King County Aquatic Center pool (same pool as last year's SC Nats) to do the postal swim. I just found out, however, that the pool will be setup long course! That is going to be a serious shock to the system. I haven't swum long course since Labor Day. Oh well, an hour straight swim is an hour straight swim, I guess.
