Hi all!
In 8 weeks the nationals is coming up. I have a slight overweight (I am 1.94m long and weigh about 98-99 kg...i would prefer to be 93-94 kg). I am relatively muscular so with 93-94 kgs I would be rather defined (I have been there before so I know how I look when I weigh 93 kg)...it requires a lot of work to get there...my question is....do you think it is worth the effort i.e. will I be faster?
I swim 6 times a week and lift weights 2-3 times a week.
Thx for your input!

You are 6feet 2.5 inches tall and 216 pounds.
Muscle mass is very heavy. Are you carrying to much fat.
Some of my best races were done when they measured the fat content of my body and I was told you are too fat.
My best swimming weight when I raced sprints was 212 to 216 lbs and I was 6' 2.75" tall.
