Looks like I am going to be in Baltimore next week. Does anyone know of a good place(s) to swim near the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards?
I know of the Merrit Athletic Club in Towson but not sure of places near that area of Baltimore.
Thanks Ya'll!

I don't know of any place to swim. I do know that until very recently, Baltimore had the highest per capita death rate from asthma in the country. That's even with Johns Hopkins being one of the best asthma/pulmonary hospitals inthe world.
It also has one of hte highest poverty rates of a major city on east coast.
I was very fortunate to be at the last home game for the Orioles at Memorial Field. That was before they built that awful place downtown. the old field felt like you were at a baseball game, not a promotional event. Of course it also helps that I hated the orioles at that time they opened the new stadium.
John, Towson is not really near the inner harbor, but there are a few other Merritts around the city that have pools and may be closer.
Some other places you may want to check out near baltimore are: NBAC, Maryland Masters @ UMBC and CMYM. If you have the option/time to come towards DC or Annapolis, there are more options (Terrapin Masters - shameless plug!)...
If you haven't already, you may want to check out maryland.usms.org (and pvmasters.org) for some additional ideas.

Muppet,
Thanks for the suggestions. I wish I did have time to come down to DC. I could visit my old college coach at AU or swim masters at Tuckahoee(sp)
Thanks again for the info.

The merritt in Canton and the Maryland Athletic Club on the waterfront are the closest swimable pools downtown. The Merritt has a $17 day pass, no idea if the mac has one.
