this thread is here for us to share tid bits of wisdom about swimming stuff like get your cap wet before you put it on. keep your racing suit dry before you race. Don't warm up in your racing suit don't breathe on the last stroke into a turn or your first stroke out of a turn ande

Thanks Paul. I'm trying not to take anything personally anymore so I don't scare Geek away from the forum again. Race prep is completely individual, dependent on your personality and chosen events. As a sprinter, I opt for aggression over relaxation. I like Kristina's last tip too. I often clap my hands or slap my thighs before a race. Get all muscles firing if possible.
