I am just so frustrated with myself. I had that long lasting super bad ear infection. 3 trips to the Dr's with 3 different treatments. It is finally better not %100 but way better. I was back in the pool and doing so well ( it is hard to get back into it )
WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL This weekend we were hit with a ton of bad weather ( Ontario Canada). We had snow then freezing rain and then snow again. Kids had a snow day yesterday. Sunday as I was heading out to take my daughter to soccer practice I slipped and fell off the front steps. As I lay there in total pain trying to assess my injuries I thought (c**p). I realized I had not broken anything but my left arm , left butt cheek and my back were very sore. My left arm is very swollen and bruised and sore, my back and hip are bruised ( not broken as I can move everything and it is healing) I am limping with my leg and back. SO no swimming AGAIN. I am thankful it was not worse as we leave for the Dominican Republic on the 17th and I am not in a cast. BUT GEESH.
I find this so frustrating. Just one of lifes little blunders. Just when you get into a fitness regime you like and can see results with WHAM.
Yes I am having a bit of a pity party. SIGH. Darn snow.

Hang in there! I'm rooting for you. Just swim when you can.
Oh, and welcome to Masters!
For me, I had a neck injury followed by a head cold and a life threatening situation with my dad (he has abdominal aortic aneurysms - note the plural).
I'm amazed I ever make it to practice. What's next? Aliens land in Georgia. I hope they don't want to swim in my lane with me!
Every practice in the pool counts!
