Lochte pretty much buried Phelps on the backstroke leg of the IM splitting 24.24. Yes, 24.24! Phelps split a 25.64.
It will be fun following all the meets this weekend. Amanda Beard is swimming at the local invite up this way--the Husky Invitational. She swam prelims of the 200 IM, but scratched finals.
This must have been very exciting. Neck and neck the whole way.

Damn! That 4 x 200 was a heckuva swim, or series of swims rather! 6:12 for the AR with second place MAC coming in at 6:28...that is huge.
Rob's son did extremely well in the 200 Free. Kudos!
