It's not going to be as interesting as Ande's but I realized when I was powerlifting 10 years ago that this is the best way for me to track and evaluate my progress so here it is.

So this has caused me to rethink my current swimming fitness level. I had thought that I was about a 6.5-7 on a 1-10 scale but now, after dragging my sorry carcass from the pool, I think it's closer to a 5.

So funny to read this. I have a sliding (scale) downward for myself too. I used to think I was around an 8 of 10 (6 years ago). However, the more I swim and run into amazing swimmers, the lower I crawl on my scale so to speak. I'm feeling 4ish about now. Don't beat yourself up on it. There are some great swimmers out there. Sounds like you are working hard! Let's let eachother know when we feel we're at 8 or 9! :fish2:
