Paul's swimming blog

It's not going to be as interesting as Ande's but I realized when I was powerlifting 10 years ago that this is the best way for me to track and evaluate my progress so here it is.

  • You may be surprised how long it takes your heel to heal. I smacked my heels on the gutter on December 2 (2007) and even now if I push on the right heel I can find the tender spot. Twice in the four weeks after doing it I really set it off again by bumping it lightly on a chair leg. It didn't interfere with hiking, lifting, spinning, or swimming, but slip-on shoes were really uncomfortable for several weeks.
