It's not going to be as interesting as Ande's but I realized when I was powerlifting 10 years ago that this is the best way for me to track and evaluate my progress so here it is.

  • ... if we don't periodically stop to THINK about why we do something, then eventually it will just be a never ending series of mindlessly going thru the motion sessions. Paul - Very well said, Zen or not! This is especially important for swimmers who spend most of their time in solo practices (sans team environment). I find it is all too easy to become "rutted" if I do not stop and rethink why I am in the pool and what I want to do with it. Keep up the good work!
