Is there some kind of new thread vortex here today? I started a thread a couple hours ago about a new swimming web site I found and now I don't see it (the thread, that is). What the heck happened to it? I'm pretty sure I'm not losing my mind. Did anyone else see it?
Yeah, I did it. I was meaning to get back to you privately Kirk, but you beat me to it. Hey, I had to run an errand and eat dinner in that time frame. We don't allow threads to be started to promote a particular product or service. Yours was marginal, but to be fair to others whose threads I've deleted, it was taken off. I'm confident you aren't affiliated with that site and aren't in line to profit from the post, but it was removed for consistency.
As far as I can tell the site isn't trying to sell anything, though. There are other threads on here asking "who's on Facebook?" or "who's on myspace?" The site I linked seemed pretty similar to those, except it was focused on swimming, but if it violates some rule here, so be it.
