i'm not sure I do know that years ago Shaun Jordan kicked a 50 SCY free with a board from a dive and went around 23.3 I bet the world's best could go 21 high to 22 low I bet there are a few who could go 20 point low to 19 high for a 50 SDK (no board) UT had a swimmer make 10 x 100 k on 1:10 Michael phelps is a very fast kicker Gary Hall was too, heard he could go around 55 for a 100 scy kick in practice Hello, I'm brand new to this board so I apologise if this is in the wrong section. Having found this old thread...some of these times are amazing. The :49 by Phelps for 100yd SDK is crazy fast to say the least. I'm with you on the Popov nomination. Incredibly relaxed and controlled freestyle. (He kicked 50 meters in :27 w/ a board.) But in Australia... Kieren Perkins used to be known as "The King". The 1500 was and still is the Super Bowl of freestyle events for them. SCY 100 *** kick in 1:08.1 200 *** in 2:20 avg. 1:16.1 for 2000 straight *** kick 100 back in 51.4 SCY 19.9 for a 50 kick with fins on (no board) 55.5 for 100 free kick SCY I heard Peter Marshall did a 2000 Back kick in something crazy like 22 minutes LCM 100 *** 1:20.8 I read somewhere that thorpe can go 2:15 for 200 LCM free kick I'm not sure what the fastest 200 free kick i've seen is, but 1:55 sounds pretty insane. I might call BS on that one..... ________________________________ I saw Peter Marshall kick 8x100 on 1:30 going between 51.6-56.4. I do remmeber hearing about some national swimmers being able to go sub 2:00 200 kicks with and with out kick boards. _______________________________ I saw Gary Hall kick 100 meter long course (on a kickboard) Butterfly in 1:03 or maybe 1:05.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find 50 KICK SCM and I found out we are looking for underwater not with a board, fly kick... Apparently, in this 50 kick race, you got a breath at the turn wall (25 m) and no other breaths before or after... and as for the King of Swimming... everyone knows that's Alexi Popov!!... hahahahaha love that guy... (in a complete worship of his stroke and efficiency kind of love...) or is the King Tommy Dolan?? love that guy too... (Mr. Angst should have been his nickname) or maybe its...
