Glenn, thanks a lot for the post. I used the top 10 results as a benchmark to my goals. I made a correlation analysis of the 35-39 years results of 2007 with the world records of non-master swimmers. One conclusion is: the worst performance of 35-39 years masters group is breaststroke (compared to the world-class swimmers). I think masters can not tolerate to force their knees due to risk of injury.
