I could feel the darn thing coming on all weekend. I started taking Cold FX yesterday but this morning when the alarm went off I thought no way as I cannot breathe and feel yucky.
Do you swim with a cold or am I being a big baby?
Katie
I'd probably swim with a cold, but not right after decapitation (sorry, guess that's the cold medicine talking).
And if you think about all the excretions that end up in a pool, and what body parts the water is swishing in and around, snot is going to be the least of your worries.
This reminds me of some "baby" friends of mine who can't believe I swim in a pool that hosts a lot of "old people" water aerobic classes. They talk about weak bladders, flaking skin, etc. I tell them that's what chlorine is for. Been doing it for some time now and haven't caught anything yet. I think I'm more at risk getting cold/flu germs from the gym equipment than from the pool.
