Here's a thread for the ladies to discuss anything that relates to women and swimming. For example, feel free to discuss how disgustingly ugly fastskins are, how the "curse" can kill a meet, how suits don't fit, how swimming wrecks your hair, how hormones unhinge you, etc.
OK, so do any of you women out there experience the dreaded 'bubble butt' syndrome with certain swimsuits?
My latest suit, which is cut very low on the back and sides causes air and water to get trapped, but this usually happens at the beginning of a workout, either when diving or executing the first turn. Once my suit is good and wet, it's not a problem.
A racer-back style suit, where the back is completely enclosed may eliminate this problem for you. I own a couple of older Nike racer-back suits and don't experience any trapped air or water during dives or turns.
