Here's a thread for the ladies to discuss anything that relates to women and swimming. For example, feel free to discuss how disgustingly ugly fastskins are, how the "curse" can kill a meet, how suits don't fit, how swimming wrecks your hair, how hormones unhinge you, etc.
This strikes me as bizarre as well. I have seen the same phenomenon, usually in swimmers in their 20s and younger.
You would think that the generation that invented rainbow parties, green M&M-fueled sorority house orgies, and the kind of thong undies that could quite possible cause the fabric equivalent of a paper cut to the perineal regions, well, you would think such a generation would not be quite so easily embarrassed!
Then again, maybe it happens most when guys like me wander into the girls locker room by mistake.

I don't get it either. Padded bras, thongs, return of the mini dress, skin tight tees and the new Nike cut out skimpy tanks for the pool ... But god forbid someone sees skin in the locker room. Masters swimming chicks are much less uptight.
